Therein lies the problem. Safe and comfortable. In one of my favorite books "Daddy-Long-Legs", Judy realises the biggest problem at the John-Grier Orphanage was boredom. Even when the shed near the building caught fire, it barely interrupted their night!
People need variety to grow. We need stimuli from friends, books, experiences, and whatever else to become better people. Being locked in a view point or place is deadly. You forget who you can become and you lose yourself in the monotony of existing.
I am fortunate for people who help me learn new things and communicate ideas and experiences. Friends like these are not a dime a dozen. They are special persons breaking down walls and extending helping hands to get out of those ruts! Keep an eye out in your own spaces for these important souls, when you find one...Grow!
