Well, we didn't go and I think I'm gonna need to look elsewhere for my blessings. My mum is older than me and she did make me dinner today. She did buy, years ago, the kayak I've been going out on the small lake in. And it was mum's boots that I wore while in the kayak on the lake. All of those are blessings of one kind or another.
I love going out on the lake. I do NOT like the in and out part of the kayak. I asked a friend the best way to do this and his suggestion was do it on a lawn. (thanks, Markus!) Tonight, it was a Narnia experience. I heard the leaves talking as the wind approached where I was sitting on the mostly still lake. I wish I was wise enough to understand what they were saying!
I came inside and updated twice in here ('I'm Alive'-which did NOT save from the last post I wrote-and 'Tween the Lions' ) and then my family blog and now this! PHEW. I'm glad I have the internet to live on (it was touch and go a short bit ago. My laptop 'read' it wasn't getting any wifi signal again.), I'd miss the world if I was only able to live in the basement on books. Like I did when I was in HS!
So, yeah, blessings everywhere you look!
