We moved to Alaska when I was 5 and lived in a trailer park in Homer. Mum made me my mumu and this was our first Alaskan cat, Rainier. (Her brother, Budweiser, lived next door)
Birthdays were always fun. Even when sick, which was kind of a normal thing. I had the measles for my 6th birthday.
I can honestly say, the Kenai Peninsula of the 70's and 80's was the very best place to grow up.We moved several times before finally landing in North Kenai. I graduated from KCHS and then a college in Portland, Or. Marriage kept me in the states, but my heart is always on the Kenai.
I grew up in Alaska, went to college in Portland, OR and ended up on the coast for 17 years before moving East. Am interested in many different things and am looking forward to sharing them with you!
