Another friend suggested there were a great many dysfunctional persons in the world, but I'm not so sure this is a psychiatric problem. Unless, of course, it is. I've always preferred to be color coordinated. I used to make sure I matched down to my skin. Not that anyone would notice my socks and panties and bras all matched, but there it was. I've gotten better at that. Now, I'm lucky I can even get my socks on!
Upon reflection, I try to eat matching colors, flavors, and I rarely mix my foods up. When I do munch on a handful of jelly bellies (those are pretty hard to eat one at a time), I often find my nose crinkling at the onslaught of too many flavors at once. Specially, if you get one that is off. (remembering Dumbledore's problem with 'toffee' flavored beans) I was interesting to find how many other people do the same thing. It made me feel like eating my least favorite to the most favorite wasn't such a bad idea.
However, I am very glad Easter candy only arrives for a few months of the year. If it isn't the Starburst jelly beans, it is the robin's eggs! None of which are very good for a person with Diabetes to become best friends with!
