I've been in a difficult situation most of the summer with contractors and insurance and such. I left Alaska hoping a good portion of it was solved. Unfortunately, it wasn't. So, I reached out to my Aunt and Uncle on the shore of Lake Superior. What a blessing they were to my disturbed heart!
It made me think about helpers. Most humans enjoy helping others and even if they say they don't, they will once in a while! The help can be as huge as working your buns off just for 'fun' or as small as a hug or a touch on the shoulder when someone needs validated. All of these are a part of giving to others.
How silly we are when we insist we can do things on our own. It isn't fair to keep all our troubles, jobs, and life experiences from others. Others need to grow as much as I!~
I do not like to bother people. I also don't like to get into situations where I should have had help and didn't. It is my job to remember I am not a bother and to find someone who can help me when I need it.
Speaking of, Bear just drove up and he's a pretty handy kid to have around!
