Was thinking about how frightening the roads can be. Yet, they are thrilling and allow us to see and do something a bit out of the ordinary. We stay on the road (going off would be scary!), following a path leading us to a destination. We may see an end off in the distance, which may or may not be our final goal. There are side roads and deer tracks veering off from the main drag. We can see everything from above. Before and below is a vista of the future. We are traveling to places we can visualize off in the distance.
As we descend, it could be terrifying. We may close our eyes and clench the arm of the hand driving. But we are safe as long as we stay on the road. As it levels out, those trails and tracks might prove fun adventures, but on the descent? There, it is best to maintain control and keep a steady hand.
Being a passenger on incredible dirt roads is both fun and educational!
