Yet, when I asked a question of a man the other day, I admit, I had to laugh to myself. The man responded to my otherwise idiotic query with the phrase, 'It isn't rocket science." I responded back, "well, it kind of is. I have never been involved with this sort of experience before and it is all new to me." I did mentally stick out my tongue at him, though.
I was frustrated for a couple of reasons. First, would I have been treated this way if I had been a man? Second, numbers always have made me nervous and being responsible for a LOT of numbers makes me more nervous.
I'm not fond of insurance companies now. Am afraid this is the fault of rocket man. I pray I never have to go through anything like this again. However, if I do, I believe I will handle it in a much more professional manner. One with less questions and more savoir faire. Why should I worry? (I do love that song!!)
